PacketGuard™ is the world's first built-in Modbus TCP packet inspector. With PacketGuard, the EDR-810 will inspect network packets all the way up to the Modbus application level, deeper than the transport-layer scanning that conventional network firewalls can achieve.

The EDR-810 is the latest in Moxa's EDR family of network security devices tailored for industrial operators. It combines security, routing, and layer 2 switch functionality into a single device, making it a highly convenient and cost-effective solution that connects and protects many devices.
Moxa's QuickLink technology eliminates the guesswork of device parameter configuration through AutoLearning and AutoMapping. When the MGate 4101-MB-PBS is connected to an existing master PLC communicating with the device, it can automatically detect the command parameters and map them into a format usable by the PROFIBUS master (PLC).

Performance Test of Industrial Security Routers

Network security devices and routers are now critical components of industrial networks, but it's equally critical that network security devices don't become network bottlenecks that affect performance.

In this video, we put Moxa's EDR-G903 up against three comparable products in a head-to-head performance test to see which device can deliver both network security and high performance. All four secure routers have no problem transmitting a test pattern video feed back to the control center, but what will happen when we crank up the network traffic? Watch the demo to find out.

Moxa Ethernet switch tested after receiving shotgun damage

This Moxa EDS-308 unit received a direct hit from a shotgun to showcase its tough metal casing, but no one actually thought to test the functionality of the switch itself. This is not a bulletproof switch, and no claims are being made to that effect, but being curious, we decided to run some basic tests of the shotgun-damaged switch, just to see. This demo video shows the results of that test.

When an attached PoE device fails to respond, Moxa's EDS-P510 can automatically perform a hard reset on the device. We demonstrate this with an IP camera and video monitoring software.

The EDS-P510 is a high-performance industrial PoE switch with advanced management functions. It features 4 PoE ports, 3 10/100 Mbps ports, as well as 3 Gigabit SFP ports for high-bandwidth connections to a video or network backbone.
